Jean Eileen Malmberg

IRONWOOD, Mich. - Jean Eileen Malmberg passed on May 2, 2023.

She was born to John and Josephine Nelmark on Feb. 5, 1929. She had many interests, including photography, art, reading, and watching the news. She also loved sitting on her lawn chair on the shore of any lake.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Eugene "Moby" Malmberg; and her brother, Donald Nelmark, and his wife, Anne.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Linda (Tim Rahko); grandsons, Anthony (Rachel) Cortez, a new great-granddaughter, and Frankie, Jonathan Rahko (Maddy Stimac) and Maddy's children Easton and Lyla. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and their children and grandchildren.

There will be no services per Jean's request.

Special thanks to the staff at Westgate nursing facility in Ironwood, where Jean has lived for the last four years. Your patience, love and kindness were such a blessing.

We will miss you, MJ. May that strong independence live on in all of us.
