David L. Imhoff

WAKEFIELD, Mich. - David L. "Kansas" Imhoff, 66, of Wakefield, passed away on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, following an unexpected medical illness.

David is survived by two daughters, Nicole Lee Ray (Adam) and Jennifer Lynn Imhoff; his mother, Barbara Imhoff, Marenisco; two sisters, Linda Robinson (Jesse), Overland Park, Kansas, and Julie Imhoff, Wakefield; three grandchildren, Jaxyn, Addy and Bear, and Allie, due in January 2024; a niece, Jamie Pannell; and a nephew, Leo Imhoff.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo J., in 1999.

For 12 years, Dave was a faithful employee of the Holiday Station Store in Wakefield.

He was a skilled carpenter, loved to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs, tried new recipes on his smoker, hunted, rode his ATV and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a loyal friend and hard worker.

A celebration of Dave's life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the American Legion Geroux Post 11, 605 River St., in Wakefield.

In honor of his love for the Kansas City Chiefs, you are encouraged to wear your favorite Chiefs apparel or the color red.
