WATERSMEET, Mich. — David Trzecinski, 79, of Watersmeet passed away at his home on Oct. 4, 2023.
He was born on April 7, 1944, in Bergland, to the late Henry and Olive (Brownell) Trzecinski. David married Ruth Augustine on July 7, 1966. Together they had three children.
David worked at the White Pine Copper mine for over 30 years. His last task there being the dismantling of the mine. David enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Trzecinski; children, Shella (John) Morgan, Tammy Smith and David Trzecinski; grandchildren, Brittney (Iloria) Estranda, Jacob (Mayra) Kuhlman, Andrew Morgan and Rebecca Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Logan Martenez, Jasper Webster, Jax Webster, Hazel Kuhlman and Amaia Kuhlman.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, James Trzecinski.
A private service is planned for family members.
The Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel is assisting the family.
