RAMSAY, Mich. - Lucille Ann (nee Miskovich) Zazeski, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024, with her loving family at her side.
Lucille was born on March 25, 1947, in Wakefield of the late Steve and Mary Miskovich, as the eighth of 13 children.
On June 14, 1969, Lucille was united in marriage with David Zazeski of Wakefield, in Wakefield. Lucille was a graduate of Wakefield High School.
Lucille went on to have three boys which she took pride in raising and celebrating all holidays in their own special way. She enjoyed spending summers camping at Lake Gogebic, cooking for holiday gatherings, and going on local trips with her sisters.
Lucille worked for 25-plus years and retired at Gogebic Medical Care Facility. She spent her retirement enjoying time with her grandchildren.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, David; her three sons, David Zazeski Jr. (Jeannie), and his son, Wyatt, of Ramsay; Kurt (Carrie) and his daughter, Taylor, of Beulah, North Dakota; and Jason (Alicia) Zazeski, of Bessemer.
Lucille is further survived by her sisters, Mary (Gordon) Erickson of Ironwood; Janice (Sue) Miskovich and Cindy (the late Peter) all of Pompano Beach, Florida; honorary son, Edward Hocking Jr .; and brother-in-law, Dan Gerovac, of Waterloo, Illinois.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bob, George, Steve, Joe and Milne "Kelly"; and her sisters, Clara, Anna Mae, Margie and Gail.
A Mass will be held on Friday, March 8, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Wakefield.
