HURLEY - Amateur historian Leo Filipczak of Cornucopia, Wisconsin, paid a visit to Hurley on Monday evening to speak about the history of the Subcarphian region of Eastern Europe, it's impact during various wars, and its ties to national identity for people of Polish, Ukrainian and Slovakian descent.
