IRONWOOD, Mich. - Angelo "Tony" Fabbri of Ironwood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield, surrounded by his loving family.
Tony was born on April 2, 1940, in Ironwood to the late Chester Fabbri and Minnie (Lombardo) Fabbri. Tony attended St. Ambrose High School in Ironwood, and then went on to Northern Michigan University, where he graduated as a master mechanic.
Besides being a lifelong mechanic, Tony's passions included his faith and beloved rosary, building successful food trucks, award-winning family cradles and mementos, making our favorite sausage and gnocchi, and of course, hunting and fishing.
Tony is survived by his wife of 65 years, Roberta "Bobbi" Fabbri; children, Mark (Annette) Fabbri of Bessemer, Janet (Jody) Anderson of Merrill, Wisconsin, Marie (Dennis) Spencer of Iola, Wisconsin, and Chris Fabbri of Merrill; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 108 S. Marquette St. in Ironwood, at 11 a.m. Visitation will precede the Mass at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Family room.
A luncheon of some of Tony's favorite recipes will be served following the service.
