Pancake Day

VOLUNTEERS HUSTLE at the griddle during the Kiwanis' Pancake Day on Tuesday at the Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant in Ironwood. Event Chairman Jim Oliver estimated that they would make a total of 1,000 pancakes and that 400 people would be served. He said that the Kiwanis appreciate community support in relation to proceeds, which go almost entirely to area youth activities.
