WINCHESTER, Wis. - Barbara Jean Josephs, 84, of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Barbara Jean Jackson was born on March 25, 1940, to Reino and Vienna (Peltonen) Jackson in Iron Belt. She loved to go fishing with her father. The one thing she would talk about most was when her and a friend moved to Milwaukee and worked at a factory called Allen Bradley. On Oct. 7, 1989, Barbara married the love of her life John William Josephs. They were happily married for 35 years. They loved to travel and spend time at their lake home.
She is survived by sister, Nancy LaVerdure; and brother, Roger Jackson.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Reino and Vienna Jackson; a brother, Robert (Bob) Jackson; and a sister, Joan Peltonen.
Barbara has three daughters, Paula Kramer, Renae (Lyndon) Byers, Melissa (Gene) Harju; and two step-children, Jana (John) Peek and Steve (Kayla) Josephs.
Barbara has 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Upon her wishes cremation will take place. No formal services are taking place.
