Thomas P. Sertich

CORTLAND, Ohio - Thomas P. Sertich, 84, passed away in his home in Cortland, Ohio, on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Tom was born on July 13, 1939, at the Newport Hospital to the late John and Sylvia Sertich; the second of five boys.

Tom attended Newport Grade School and graduated from St. Ambrose Catholic High School in 1957. Tom attended Jordan Catholic Seminary in Menominee, Michigan; served in the United States Air Force; attended Gogebic Community College, Northern Michigan University in Marquette, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly, of Cortland, Ohio; and his brother, James, of Ironwood, Michigan.

Tom is preceded in death by his son, Dylan; his mom and dad; and brothers, John, Anthony and Nick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Roberts Catholic Church in Cortland, Ohio.
