Fourth of July 50/50 winners get big bucks

GOGEBIC RANGE — As Fourth of July celebrations wrap up in the Gogebic Range, many towns have pulled the winning numbers for their 50/50s. Below is a list of some of the major 50/50s, their winning numbers, and any other available information.

Bessemer

The Bessemer Fourth of July record-setting 50/50 raffle winners were Greg and Diana Meeuwsen of West Salem, Wisconsin. Their winning ticket number was 36413, and they took home $54,573.

Wakefield

The Wakefield Fourth of July 50/50 winner was Paige Berwald of Green Bay. Berwald is a former Bessemer resident, and bought ticket number 44049, taking home $40,000.

Nikki DelFavero sold the ticket.

Ramsay

The Ramsay Fourth of July 50/50 winners were Brian and Evelyn Aspinwall, who purchased ticket number 13322.

They took home $11,775. Lynn Ormes sold the ticket.

Marenisco

Marenisco’s 50/50 winner was Tom Perttu of Bruce Crossing. He won $5,000.

Bruce Crossing

The Bruce Crossing Fourth of July 50/50 winner was Mary Hokens of Ewen, who held ticket number 1813.

Mercer

The Mercer Fourth of July 50/50 winner was Matt Hetchler, whose ticket number was 999.
