Earl Rudolph Hakari

HURLEY, Wis. - Earl Rudolph Hakari, 92, of Ironwood Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2024, at the Villa Maria Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hurley.

Earl was born on Feb. 21, 1932, in Ironwood Township to Earl J. and Eva V. Siikila. He was a 1949 graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood. Earl then served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his service, he graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1959. Earl lived in Montana, Detroit and Anchorage, Alaska, working as an electronics engineer for the Federal Avian Administration.

No formal services are taking place. Private burial will be held at the Sunset Acres Cemetery in the Ironwood Township.
