Heritage Day Parade

SATURDAY's Heritage Day parade on Hurley's Silver Street offers a slice of hometown flavor, including - as shown in the photo to left - Robert and Danielle Vinopal of Kimball with two of their closest friends. Robert is riding Boss, and Danielle is riding Winston. Other parade favorites included the city's Alumni/Community Band; members of the Hurley Athletic Hall of Fame; and members of Vietnam Veterans of America's Chapter 529. Also part of the parade were volunteer fire departments from what appeared to be every community in Iron County. Tractors, floats and reunions helped to fill in the rest of the parade.
