Shirley Machesky and Michael Machesky

HURLEY, Wis. — Shirley A. Machesky passed away on Sept. 21, 2023, in Chesterfield, Missouri. On May 21, 2024, her son, Michael “Mike” Lawrence Machesky of Champaign, Illinois, joined her in passing.

In their memory, family is hosting a funeral service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hurley on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. Interment and a reception will follow. Mike’s family is also hosting a celebration of his life on Friday, Aug. 16, at 2 p.m. at Saxon Harbor.
