THE BESSEMER Public Library, shown above, is set to add Sunday hours, according to library director Melissa Lupino. The library had tested out limited Sunday hours this past winter, she said. "We had the library open for about seven weeks on Sundays, and it was such a busy afternoon, we decided to bring it back this year," she said. The hours will begin on Oct. 20, and will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the winter. The library is located in the lower level of Bessemer City Hall at 411 S. Sophie Street.
