Bonita 'Bonnie' Josephine Kasper

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Bonita "Bonnie" Josephine Kasper, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Oct. 3, 2024, at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bonnie was born in Ironwood, Michigan, to Alex and Helen Kasper. She attended Saint Mary's Catholic School; graduated from J.E Murphy High School; and furthered her education at Northland College, receiving her Master of Fine Arts.

After attaining her degree, Bonnie worked as a graphic designer and art department manager at a printing plus screen line in Ashland, Wisconsin, where she designed and produced her original artwork that then was sold to many department stores around the country. She continued her art career, working with Arts Unlimited in Hurley, Wisconsin, in the early 1990s after moving to Ironwood.

A hard worker and independent spirit, Bonnie started her own business, Wolfmoon Graphic Works. Working out of her home, she took on custom orders from clients from the area. Always networking and open to new adventures, Bonnie moved to West Palm Beach, where she met her life partner, Raymond Braun.

Bonnie was a lifelong learner and appreciator of the arts. She traveled the world in pursuit of experiencing many regions' history, culture and landmarks. She would tell the tales of her journeys passionately and was an excellent storyteller. Some of her most memorable destinations included Greece, Italy, the Holy Lands, Petra, Peru, Scotland, Ireland, the South American Andes and the British Isles.

Bonnie deeply loved her family and was very dedicated to them. Wearing many hats over the years -advisor, party planner, counselor, medical correspondent, author - she led and guided her family through many good and trying times. If a friend or family member needed someone in their corner, she was always happy to help research or aid in the fight. She was passionate about her beliefs and was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving partner, Raymond Braun; her twin infant daughters; a grandson, Maxwell Kasper; her parents, Alexander and Helen Kasper; and brother, Darryl Kasper.

She is survived by her son, Rich (Jamie Hellen) Kasper; grandchildren, Ruby Kasper and Gabe Schwartz; a sister, Christina Kasper; a brother, Gary (Ruth) Kasper; niece, Tara (Louis) Hendges; and great nephews, Dresden and Dominic.

She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

A memorial service will be announced later.
