A majority of Iron County voters cast their ballot in favor of Republican Donald Trump and JD Vance in Tuesday's Presidential election.
None of the local races were contested.
A total of 2,562 votes were cast for Trump and Vance in Iron County with the Democratic ticket of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz getting 1,487 votes.
Sixteen votes were cast for Robert Kennedy-Nicole Shanahan, nine for Jill Stein-Rudolph Ware, three for Randall Terry-Stephen Broden, two each for Chase Russell Oliver-Mike ter Maat and Cornel West-Melina Abdullah and one for Claudia De La Cruz-Karina Garcia.
Most Iron County voters also favored Republican Eric Hovde for a U.S. Senate seat.
He received 2,445 votes with incumbent Democrat Tammy Baldwin getting 1,513, Phil Anderson 44 and Thomas Leager 31. The Associated Press had not called this race as of early Wednesday morning.
Iron County went with incumbent Republican Tom Tiffany in the race for U.S. House District 7. Tiffany received 2,584 votes and Democrat Kyle Kilbourn 1,380. The Associated Press called the race for Tiffany.
In the State House District 74 race, incumbent Republican Chanz Green got 2,556 votes in Iron County compared to 1,380 for Democrat Jeanne Rand Bruce. The result of that race wasn't yet called.
A constitutional amendment that doesn't allow foreign nationals to vote in the state passed. It saw 3,035 yes votes in Iron County with 851 voting no.
According to the Associated Press: "The Wisconsin Constitution states that every U.S. citizen who is at least 18 can vote. The amendment revises that language to read that only U.S. citizens can vote in federal, state and local elections held in Wisconsin."
None of the local races were contested. Those on the ballot included Matthew Tingstad for district attorney, Christian Brandt for county clerk, Clara Maki for county treasurer and Brancy Rowe for register of deeds.
