Joseph Paul Frederick

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Joseph Paul Frederick, 86, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024.

Joe is survived by his wife, Christine Frederick; daughter, Jeanean (Greg) Johnson; grandchildren, Andrew (Ashlee) Johnson, Michael (Kat) Frederick and Benjamin Frederick; great-grandchildren, Audrey Frederick, Elinor and Wade Johnson; brother, Kerry Ceil) Frederick; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends, Virgil and Diane Davit.

He is predeceased by his parents; and two sons, Michael and Thomas Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's name to the Cathedral of St. Peter or to a Parkinson's Foundation of choice.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. with a visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL 61109. Burial will conclude in Owen Center Cemetery.
