Chamber Singers schedule their annual Christmas concert Dec. 6, 8

IRONWOOD - The Chamber Singers will present their annual Christmas concert on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood.

From jazzy to calypso and contemporary to traditional, the concert will cover a wide range of musical styles.

The concert will start with the peppy "Ding Dong Merrily on High" before moving on to "Celtic Carol" and "What Shall We Give." The first set ends with "Do You Hear What I Hear?"

Next, the men will present the rousing "Boar's Head Carol," followed by "Still, Still, Still."

The women then will rejoin the group for a set of seasonal favorites directed by Deb Wahlberg. Her numbers will include "Sleigh Ride," "Deck the Hall," "Winter Wonderland Of Snow" and "Dashing Through the Snow."

The women will continue the concert with "The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy" and "Christmas Glory Hallelujah."

The final set will begin with "Glad Tidings of Joy" and will continue with "What Sweeter Music" and "Sure on this Shining Night."

The final song will be "Angels We Have Heard on High."

Beyond Wahlberg, other directors for this concert also will include Angela Burla, Janice Massie and Marie Eggleston. Massie is also the accompanist.
