OPEN SKATING

GETTING HIS first lesson in skating on Nov. 9 is Memphis Pulkas, 6, of Ironwood, who is receiving guidance from his aunt, Savannah Kahila, of Bessemer. They were at the Pat O'Donnell Civic Center in Ironwood, which offers open skating hours to the public. Additional skating photos are on page 11.
