GIANT lead Lt. Matthew Sterbenz expects additional arrests to come

GOGEBIC RANGE — GIANT, the acronym for the Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics team, has had a good year in relation to area drug arrests.

On Dec. 9, the Iron County Sheriff’s Office posted an informal press release from the Ironwood Public Safety Department, reporting that GIANT wasresponsible for the arrests of the following seven persons on multiple charges in October.
