TWO ATTENDEES at the 18th annual Mercer Sno-Goers' Winter Blast chat on Saturday. The event in Mercer ran from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in or next to the Sno-Goers' groomer barn, which is adjacent to a snowmobile trail. The full day and evening included a pancake breakfast, a vintage sled show, a bonfire, groomer rides, kids' activities, raffles, a silent auction, lots of food and beverages, and live music by Flashback. A poker run also ended at the Blast. Chris Green, vice president of the non-profit club, said the fundraiser proceeds help to maintain more than 200 miles of snowmobile trails in Iron County.
