KIMBALL, Wis. — Bruce Tomczyk, 85, of Kimball, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 15, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Berniece.
Bruce served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as Sergeant First Class. He was also employed at the White Pine Pine in quality control for 40 years.
Bruce is also survived by his children, including son, Michael (Jodi) Tomczyk of Antigo; and daughter, Pamela (Kirk) Backman of Kimball; as well as grandchildren, Riley Michaela and Garrett Tomczyk, Brittany (Jeff) Hunt and Mackenzie Backman; great-grandchildren, Brody, Harper, Jennifer and Cooper Hunt; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Kim (Marge) Tomczyk; and sister, Corrine Krakovec.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Irene Tomczyk; sister, Cheryl Tomczyk; and brother-in-law, Martin Krakovec.
Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, Mich., is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Per Bruce’s wishes, there will be no service.
